Resume Writing
Let me help you get the resume you need for the job you want! I’ve been writing and editing professional resumes since 2013. Choose from one of three packages below (each one includes editing, a sample cover letter you can easily change to your specifications, and FREE resources for your continued job search success):
- Silver Package
- I will edit your completed resume and provide you a second, optional template/version of your resume $100
- Gold Package
- I will help you complete your resume (or write it from scratch after you complete an intake) and provide you with two professional versions *(this is also the best option if you’d like two different resumes tailored for two unique positions) $150
- Platinum Package
- Same as the Gold package, but it will include three professional versions of your resume and an edit of your cover letter. You may choose the template I provide, tailor it to your needs, and I will edit it $250
Beta Reader
Completed a novel? Maybe it’s something you’ve worked on for years, maybe you won the NaNoWriMo challenge…either way, I am happy to be your beta reader! This differs from developmental editing – it won’t be as in-depth, but I’ll provide you with the following: an overall assessment of the novel – any areas with major concerns/problems, some suggestions on how to fix them, my thoughts on your overarching plot, story and character arc, and suggested reading that may further develop you as a writer, pulled from an extensive list of books on the craft that I’ve studied.
$.007 per word (min 50,000 words or $350)
Micro / Flash Fiction
Need a review of your short fiction? Over the last few years, I’ve fallen in love with this style of writing, studied the art of brevity, and learned a ton about cutting down to the minute, crucial details. Send me your draft and I’ll help you chop it down to size, show you what needs strengthening (whether plot, setting, dialogue, or characterization), and provide a few tips for your future short short stories.
$.03 per word for a line edit w/inline comments and tracked changes (Microsoft Word) – max 2,000 words. *(Typically flash fiction is 1,500 words or less. If you’re over 2,000 words and not sure how to distill your story, message me! I’m happy to take a look and see how I can assist).
$149 “Publishing Package” For the truly dedicated writer who wants to see their work in print!* This special package includes the following:
- an initial developmental edit on a flash piece of 2,000 words or less, with ideas for distilling the story to the author’s preferred word count
- a second round line edit on the updated draft
- a template query letter for submitting the piece to magazines, ezines, anthologies, etc.
- a curated list of contests and places to submit
*I can’t guarantee publication after we’ve worked together. What I can guarantee is that every effort to improve your writing will make you a better writer, thus increasing your odds of publication.
